If any of you have or know of a faq thread that needs to be added to the blazer faq and how to section just post it up here and I will get it added to the new thread.
Please post a link to it and I would prefer that it does not link to another website. But if it is a really good faq or how to and it links to another website I will consider putting it up anyway.

We need a technical 4x4 explanation. My guess is that the encoder motor moves a shift mechanism, which trips the vac switch to send vacuum to actator which then pulls cable to engage front axle. I'd appreciate if someone can do a write up on this. What voltages should you see at the encoder motor? how to test the encoder motor? what sensors are there to sense if it is in 2wd or 4wd. Is there a sensor to confirm front axle engagement? How to troubleshoot front hub engagement.

Done.
I'm getting really frustrated at how slow Af has been lately, I would be able to do more but it really pisses me off when AF freaks out and loses my changes that I've made. Igor says he will be making some changes soon and I hope to corner him about changes to GM once again. Who knows when that will happen though.
On a positive note I did get the FAQ updated to a more user friendly interface. I just still need to add the rest of the links.
Keep them coming as you find them.
Thanks everyone for the help with this.

I like the new layout. I edited the links in my first post to show the thread names instead of the urls, I thought that it might help you out a little when you merge them into the catergories.
A couple other suggestions:
Add a list of or link to the forum guidelines.
A statement to search the forum if the help needed isn't found in the FAQs and How-tos.
A list of what to include in threads asking for help..... Year? Engine? Is the Check engine light on? Detailed description of the problem? What has been attempted to fix it? etc.

Could you create the page the way you want it to read and I will copy and paste it into the current FAQ?
If you want create a new topic on it and we can discuss it and fine tune before making it live on the Faq, that way you can get the credit for the post. I think its a great idea to have a general how to post faq.
Good idea

I was wondering if you could put a link to a good A/C component break down and the procedures for diagnostics.
Also I have the Electronic Climate Controles on my 98 Blazer, that would be a very interesting topic. The thing sure is acting weard...when the truck is running I can hear the actuator trying to move the a/c\heater vent to heat when it is already in heat...i know its in the electronic module in the switch.
I can not get it to go to cold unless I pinch one of the tubes connected to the vacume manifold under the dash.....I am also losing r-134 somewere but I cannot find the leak. Ive used dye and still cant find the leak...I hope I didnt go to far off topic...if soo...sorry.
PS....Best s10 site I have ever found....all the others argue and dis eachother...keep up the good work.
