Well recently my emergency break warning light decided to come on if i accelerate to quickly. i have no idea what this could be.
This started after i took my car in to take car of a noise that occurs during parking, right turns, winding roads. Struts and sway bars replaced, nothing, tire pressure lowed, nothing, complete break rear break system, good for about a week. Any ideas on either issue would be a great help.
Thanks

The emergency brake pedal has a switch that, when you press on the pedal, causes the warning light to come on. Sometimes the bracket holding the switch gets bent and allows the switch to open. Sometimes the switch gets loose in the bracket and slides up out of it. Sometimes the return spring on the emergency brake cable gets worn and doesn't keep the pedal all the way up against the switch. Sometimes the cable gets rusty, and the spring can't combat the rust to allow the pedal to return. Sometimes the switch just goes bad. Because you say it comes on when you accelerate, I would say it is either the pedal doesn't have enough tension to keep it against the switch, or the switch has movement inside the bracket.

The light on the dash will come on if there is a problem in the braking system. Check the brake fluid level. There is a float in the master cylinder resevoir that will move around and if the fluid is low it may cause the light to come on intermittently while driving.
