does anybody here use these? if so, are they as bright as regular bulbs? i would only be interested in the instrument panel bulbs as they are a pain to get at. i have a 2001 sc2... http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm

Better to just turn down the brightness on the incandescent lamps. They will probably last the life of the car on low.
Notice the size of these, they'll be too big for a dash. Also note the restriction on colors, the white doesn't have much red in it, and that will affect red symbols. It didn't mention a green problem.
But thanks for the link, these are getting cheaper now, and they might have a place in my sailboat. (no generator)
