1999 ford windstar front washer motor

I need some suggestion on what may be broken on my 1999 ford windstar. The front washer motor will not work when I depress the switch on turn signal. The wipers work fine. If I switch the connectors between the front and rear motors the front washer works when using the rear washer switch, but the rear does not work. So the washer motor appear to be good. Do anyone have any suggestion from here?

Thanks

I have looked this up for my '96....so placement may be different on yours.

There is a windshield washer pump motor relay in the engine compartment fuse box. This relay does not power the rear wiper / washer.
It looks like the front wipers and washer are powered by the same fuse....#18 in the Intrument Panel fuse box. So, if your wipers work....the fues would be good. So...I would suspect the relay.

Looks like the rear "liftgate" wiper and washer are powered by fuse #24 in the instrument panel fuse box....this is located just over the driver's left foot....when looking up under the dash board.

You will need to consult your owner's manual for relay location as I know that you have more relays in the engine compartment "fues box" than I do...so the layout will be different.

The owner's manual will also give you a layout of the fuses...and what powers what.

Wiswind, I see two relays related to the front wiper system, 202 front wiper on/off relay and 209 front wiper hi/low relay. None related to washer system. I see fuse 6 which is related to front wiper motor, front wiper relay, front washer pump, and FEM. Which relay 202 or 209 may be related to washer pump motor relay?

I was looking at the wiring diagrams for my '96.
My alldatadiy subscription lets me look only at the '96...so they must have changed more that I thought for the '99 year. I was hoping that it would be close.
