Will this offset look good.

I hate to ask this, but I know nothing of wheel spacing. Will an offset of 32 and 45 look ok on an s13. I'm guessing front and rear offset. the wheels are 16 by 7.5 and are Super Advans. I already feel stupid asking this, so I don't need more criticism. Thanks guys.

as far as i know, it will look like shit. something like +24 is more reasonable (more in the back)

well lets just say i have 18x7.5 with a +35 offset on my FWD scion......so ill let you decide from there lol.

minimum i would go is 8/8.5 inches up front....and then like 9.5/10 rear.

offset is up to you. But dont just buy them cuz there ADVANS......if you have advans live up the name, and sport a real mean f'ing bitch of a setup.


The next set of rims i buy will most likely be 300zx rims, cuz i really dont need a bad ass set of rims right now lol, and those would get the job done for a pretty decent setup with some ET streets or something. I'll let the car earn a mean f'ing set of rims with cereal bowl type dish. When i feel the car is suitable to look that damn good lol. Rims dont play around when it comes to cash. I can think of other things that would better suit the car for the money until then.

yea might as well is how i see it. There not flashy, yet still wider and staggered. Perfect in my eyes. Gain performance with a sleeper style look. WHich is what i want. Stock silvia front, with 300zx rims. Looks plain and not flashy, but is still "customized" to my liking. But looks like a stock car to the average joe. What else more can you ask for? Dont know on the hood yet. I like the JUN fiberglass one. But i kinda want a painted oem carbon fiber one. Im still undecided on vented or not. The jun one has 4 vents, but there like sunken in style so head on you cant really see them. And on a jet black car prolly isnt that noticeable. Or i might get the URAS n+ side skirts and front bumper, based on stock styling but fiberglassed instead. 500 for both..not bad if you ask me.

17x8 +24 front
17x9 +24 rear
would that look good on a 180??

i had 7+32 and they looked just fine and nice. 7.5+32 would look even better. the +45 is definitely a little high and will be a little sunken in.

you dont need SUPER low offsets in order for it to look good... just decent offsets. for a 7.5 rim anywhere between a +35 and +25 will fit nicely.

so in other words if order my rims with the dimensions i said they will be fine??

They don't make those Motegis in 17x8, only 17x9 +24, it's the only size and you can fit that front and back and it'll fit real good.

17x9 +20 is bare minimum on the struts with the larger lower bracket. I don't even think 17x9+15 clears on Zeals and such.


WTF. Flushness is not everything, as much as it can make a car look good. Having 28lb per corner wheels made of shitty pot metal takes away everything that flushness adds. I consider FN01RCs, Work Emotions, or Grenade GX-01s the bare minimum... If you want to have the Sportmax/Motegi "I can't bench my front wheel" feista then go ahead, just know that it blows.

You are probably liking them for the way they look on the car. If you saw the rims slidewayz posted actually with that offset on a car, compared to those motegis you listed, you'd probably be like "whoa, those g-games look way better, and 45+ does look like but." You cant just look at the rim, imagine it on the car..lol :screwy:

114.3mm is the distance between holes. I actually have a TO4B, the turbo nissanfanatic was using, but (dont laugh) i cant finish it because i lost the 360* thrust bearing and cant find any others that will work...all the replacement bearing i have now are for IHI turbos. All i need is the damn bearings..

now about the turbos thats not a laughing matter thats uppsetting, whats the most boost you can pump out of that turbo???

alot of boost, i took it from a diesal I6 that was pushing 20+psi right when you stepped on the throttle, so constant 20lbs would mean that these are really durable turbos, last a long time.

Any offset over 35 is totally 100% gay on a rwd car, over 25 is kinda lame.

yeah, i didnt even know what i was thinking back when i wanted +35, if your going to go for rims (unless you just want to buy some S13/S14 alloys) and your not going to go with an offset below +30 maximum then you shouldnt even spend the money, the rims will look bad on a 240

no, with the TO4B turbines A/R that i have is 1.52, and the trim is 82 i think. I dont think a 240sx could even spool it, the turbine housing looks like a monster for a supra or single V8 project...but the compressor side and center housing is the same as fanatics..

damn that must be 1 big turbo i wonder whats the max boost if an sr20 couldnt get it winding.

Rays makes Gram Light 57c's...those have the most 4lug possibilities...i got 16x7 gram lights on my 240sx hatch and its +42...IMO i dont think they look bad...i will have a picture up on here soon...just have to figure out how...let me know so i can show u guys
