+42 will look bad on any rim, even if it's 15 inches wide. If your not concerned with flushness then just admit that your rims look bad now.

your right it is abour ratio, but tose rims would look better witha +25, or evn +30...and flush is the sex. and some rims that are flush dont have lip...like FN's, buddy clubs, ect...it isnt the lip factor...its just the flushness. and you dont need crazy widths to do that..you can do that on a 6 in wide (granted that be like -15 offset though...lol) anywho...as far as im concerned...im no one to talk about looks for now, but its your car...do what you want...that goes for everyone...dont follow trends to look cool...do it for you...

the offsets are all to weak for me, also rims arent wide enough...thus, for me the weak sauce on my car.

and like orestes said...i hvae 50mm wide fenders in the rear...to fill 50mm wide fenders with 9.5 wide rims i would need something like -50 offset... with 18x11 i will only need at most -15, and when your putting 400whp down to the ground...you tend to get alittle squirly thus when wide wheels come into play...know the persons car your talking about before you try to nay say what there doing.

The only ones that would look good (looking at size) are the first nes, the SP1s, and only on stock fenders.
