Just recently bought an '02 Windstar and I am not getting to good of mileage. I am just curious what other people are getting. I am getting about 16 mpg.

16 mpg is really low even for a van. I have a 95 Windstar with over 185,000 miles and get 17 to 23 mpg.
How old are the plugs and air filter? Plug wires?
How well does it idle? Start?

I have an '00 Windstar and have NEVER gotten better than 16mpg in the city, and usually around 21 on the highway.

i've got 98 3.8L. i am getting 20mpg average, since the day i bought it five years ago.
