Xbox 360...what the hell?

i played xbox all the time. im more of a dork then guys workin at eb games so i know what im talking about. as the drunken monkey said, its gameplay and xbox lacks that. halo was only fun as multiplayer. the single player was so easy and boring.

PS though as so many titles and good ones at that that take time. given, there were a few...but heck, overall, sony owns. as you said, you play your ps2 more.

I might pick up a used regular Xbox after the 360 comes out, strictly for Forza, but I don't like the Xbox (which I've played, many a time) anywhere near as much as my PS2. Not only does the PS2 have a zillion more games I enjoy, it's tiny (I have the slimline), classy black instead of cartoonish mutant neon slime green and black, and the controllers are much less bulky. Until the 360 offers a selection of games I actually want to play, I'm not even considering it. Once GT5 comes out (not to mention the TXR, FF, etc etc etc games), however, I'll have to buy a PS3, whether I have a 360 or not.

I dont know why people mention the size of the xbox so much... it has nothing to do with gameplay.

Ill be waiting for PS3. Never liked XBox. Only game I did enjoy was Halo, and I get bored with the multiplayer after an hour or so. Forza was ok...Would be amazing if GT didnt exist.

Everyone always says XBox has better graphics/technology/etc, why? How much later after PS2 was released did XBox come out? All the extra time was R/D time. Now who is having the extra R/D time? And regarding releasing Halo 3 on the same day, won't matter. All the Sony people will still buy their Sony's regardless of what 360 games are coming out that day.

Yeah Xbox never really made me want it, sure it had Halo 1 and 2 but after a couple of hours you get tired of it quick, especially if you dont have any friends, yet online is still boring and can get frustrating because you cant really choose what map you want to play and the fact that they name the same game type with 5 different names. Pisses me off when you play the same damn map 10 times in a row and all you got is assault and different variations of it.

PS on the other hand had Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto, Ace Combat, and way better than Halo.. Socom.

All those are great series and kept me wanting to keep playing. Well.. carry on.

If NIntendo sticks to the reports coming in, they may actually be a big competitor. They're moving away from kids games and they're uping the graphics. I can;t wait for it.Ill buy the PS3 later, but the revolution is what im syked for. its the only one that has something other than, updated software for better graphics.

I'm buying PS3 for one reason and one reason only, Metal Gear Solid 4, it's the only game i plan on having for the PS3 for a few years. Otherwise i'm still gonna play my PS2.

I played PGR3 the other day and I was pretty impressed. The graphics were amazing, and the feel of the car was much improved over the last one. The tracks that I saw were fun, but the main complaint i have is that there arent any cars that cant do 170mph. I realize they were trying to get the supercars and stuff, but I also like racing cars that are a little slower sometimes. Overall tho it was really really good
