How to replace the front passenger window

I have a 2000 impala ls that was broken into this weekend to steal my spoiler of all things. Being the poor college student that I am, I'm trying to save a little money by fixing the broken window myself. I found a cheap replacement window at a junkyard but I've never replaced a window before, can anyone give me a how to?

I would recommend getting a repair manual from a dealer or napa or kind of a parts store....it will give you step by step instructions to replace the window....and if you are going to be doing a lot of work on this car yourself, then it would be a good investment...they go for about 15 bucks...but well worth it....

if your talking about the haynes manuals, they dont make them yet for the 00-05 impalas. haynes always makes their books for what ever cars that can be covered in one book, so when they do make a book it will be for a impala/monte, possibly more of the W-bodys, but probably just those two.

the one that is out now is for like 3 different cars from 97 - 01 it claims, but it says it covers the impala, but the pictures that it shows are not the 00-05 body style, so it wont work I dont think.

ive been trying to find time to look at my dealership manuals for you, but ive just been busy, ill try to do that tonite and tell you how to.

ok I tried to make this shorter so I used links instead of pictures. they go in order, I took pics of the text, then the pic that goes with the text, and so on and so forth. if it tells you to go to a different section to see how to remove something, I also took pics of that, but I didnt put those in order, but my pictures should have the section title in the picture. I hope you can make sense of it all.
