Reading this just makes my skin crawl and blood boil at the same time. My daughter is the same age as yours. I worry about her because she is so shy. I don't know what I would do if harm ever came to her, but I know it wouldn't be pretty at all for the offender. One thing to keep in mind, make sure your daughter KNOWS SHE DID NOTHING WRONG! That this is not her fault. I'm sure all the trouble being stirred up by all this has her a little overwhelmed, and a child can sometimes blame themselves for all the chaos. Just as you were blaming yourself for your mom's condition. Heart problems at that young of an age is genetic, combined with poor lifestyle. Not your fault at all.
But back to your daughter. I know you feel your "protecting" her by defending your family against these scum who are now harrassing you. And so far, so good. Just try to keep it legal. YOU file the charges,YOU file the restraining orders, YOU file traspassing charges. Keep it all legal and calm so as not to scare the kids into thinking THEY HAVE CAUSED this mess. Don't let it turn into a Jerry Springer Episode.When you finally do go to court, the judge will see what you've had to go thru, and have a better idea of what kind of people he's dealing with, on both sides. Morons who have no concept of decency or respect for another human being, and then your side who did everything to keep your family away from any more harm. Trust me on this. I already went thru something similar with a good friend. Take care.

I've just read your post, please find peace in knowing your little girl survived and you can still love her and protect her. Tell her it was not her fault and she did nothing to deserve being attacked. Young kids often feel they they did something wrong and will feel guilty. Seriously think about counseling with your daughter. I spent ten yrs, caring for victims of sex crimes. Focus on the child and don't be a victim to. Good luck.

My heart goes out to you karmacae and your family; I hope your family makes a quick recovery. I also hope that Texas has stiff sentencing for sexual assults. I really don't see why castration isn't the manditory sentance for a repeat offerender.

I've got a nephew turning 6 this Feb - my younger sister is a single mom (had him when she was 19) and although I've never told her I look up to her for being a parent. You are blessed to have a child and I know how much you must worry about her in the first place; it takes a strong person to be a parent. Continue to be strong and remember your daughter's well-being is most important.

That's horrible. I don't understand WTF is wrong with some people. I don't have kids, so I can't fully image what you are going through. But I really feel sorry for everything that you are going through. Good Luck. Hopefully thing will turn out for the better in the end.

On a personal note. When I have kids, if I ever find out that some little f*cker did that to my son or daughter, I would make sure that he had something to remember it by the rest of their pathetic and useless life. No I wouldn't kill'em. Cause killing them is an easy way out for them. I would do like the doctor in Hostel did to the Asian girl. I would take a blow torch and severally burn one of his eyes and that he would phyically be scared for life. I would only do one eye though, because I would want him to see he disfigured face in the mirror to remind him of what he did. On top of that I would take the blow torch and burn his d*ck. That way he could never use it to harm anyone again. Sorry if that is disturbing, but the fact that people out there are sick enough to do that to a 6 year old is more disturbing that anything that you could to them

Stop saying what revenge you'd have on the kids... it would only put you in jail instead, and I doubt it's helping anyways.
