96 sable window problem

All of my windows work from the drivers control panel, but none work from the individual door switch. I think the problem is in the window lock switch on the drivers door, but i dont know how to go about testing/ bybassing this switch. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about the compliment I just thought someone might have some USEFUL suggestions. When someone posts with a smartass comment like yours it dosent help. Your comment followed by other instructions would have been great and Im sure many of the more mature(not that my response was mature) members of the board would have posted some helpful information. Not all of the posters here are car people or electrical people so you cant expect them to know things. I guess I was hoping to find someone who had the same problem and was willing to share their solutions.

Josh, you get your voltmeter ready. Remove the door. Be careful with the factory hardware that's made out of plastic. Once you have access to the window switches, check the ohms at the switch in both positions. If the circuit doesn't read anything it's bad. Good luck. If you have access to a U-Pull-It junkyard, go practice on a wreck. If the switch is good on the junker keep it. When you check yours, replace the switches.
