I have Winstar 95. I had lot of problems with it. The last one was, when I was coming from NJ to VA it seems that gas was coming out from exhaust and it start sometime. Anyhow one of the Mechanic diagnose it as the computer module is not working so he replaced it. After two weeks it won't start, it cranks. sombody told me that it is the weak battery so I changed the battery, I also checked the plugs the current is there. Please help in simple english because I am new and don't lot of technical term.

Probably fuel pump is toast. Listen to the hum from the pump while turning your key. If not it is likely fuel pump relay fuse or pump itself. Start with the easier one.
If the fuel pump is fine, then likely culprit could be timing belt. Hope not.

I am fairly certain it will have a timing chain.

You are right. Windstar uses timing chain instead of belt. It was an error on my part.

Thank you very much. I will start with the fuse which is easy. where is the timing chain in Winstar 95? And is it easy to fix that.

I did mean to add though that the timing chain/belt is a valid point. Some vehicles use nylon teeth on the camshaft which can wear and slip or the chain could be worn and "jump" so the timing could be off which of course was the point you had made. I wouldn't think this is likely but it is possible.

Windstar 95: When I start the van the air bag sign start blinking and after few blinking it stays. VA safety inspection does not like it. I checked under the passenger side seat there is no wire connected. My mechanic code reader is not reading any code.
