So I just bought this 1977 station wagon from my moms friend. It's in really good condition as far as how it runs and the body is straight. But one thing that could be replaced is the interior and the tires. After doing a google search, I've come up with practically nothing as far as interior parts go. Does anyone have any links or places that I should look in order to get some new seats or door panels and whatnot? I could use any help you can offer.
Also, I was told to try and find out if the 77 Caprice's interior would work for my car. Does anyone have any idea about this?
:1zhelp:
Thanks.
Andrea

Have you tried looking on eBay? Another option is to find a salvage yard in your area that has a locator service, which can find parts that you are looking for at other salvage yards across the country that are part of the system. One more option would be to get a hold of a copy of Hemmings Motor news. It is a giant catalog with classified ads for just about any car made, and there are plenty of parts for sale in there. You can get a copy at places that sell magazines, or go to their website http://hemmings.com/ on their site you can also get a free issue of their magazine. Most places that sell interiors probably won't carry interior parts for the wagon as the sales of these parts would be smaller, and it might be a reason for them to not justify carrying them in stock. There might be some small shops in your area that re-upholster auto interiors, and they might be worth checking out for the seats, and door panels as another option.
