Im having problem with my 1999 Windstar, the check engine light stays on.....getting codes 0171 & 0174. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be. Thanks

The problem MIGHT be, and chances are good that it could be, a leak in the intake due to the rubber around the islolator bolts deteriorating and causing leaks around the port seals.
Many on this site have experienced this same problem. If you search under Isolator bolts or 171/174 you will find countless threads addressing this with links to step by step instructions, copies of a Technical Service bulletin (TSB 03-16-1) that addressess this problem as well as people's experiences in doing this repair in their driveways.
