I have been duing a lot or reading on the whole Dex-Cool, Intake Seals and EGR Pipe overheat problems on 3800 engines (and other engines).
Sure sounds like to me that the real culprit is the EGR Pipe getting things hot.
I have read that they improved the seal material, added sealent pellets, new fastners, tourque etc.
Did they ever do any thing to cool down the EGR pipe or passage into the intake? ? ?
Know there is an after market kit etc but has GM done anything in regards to the EGR entry into the intake on later s? ? ?
Anybody had problems with intake coolant leaks on 04/05 s much?
