Key in Ignition Chime!!!!

The key in ignition chime sounds anytime the driver door is open, whether the key is there or not. Also, the doors will not stay locked unless you lock them with remote. I have replaced the ignition switch but it didn't help. Anyone else have this problem?....sorry, I have a '98 3.2L...

Sounds like you need a new Ignition Cylinder . You will have to bring in your best key to a dealership so they can measure it and order the right one.
