First NICE car.

me and my son both agree that we do not like "riced" up cars. We enjoy classic muscle cars. My son (with college) has no time to work on his car and never has had much anyways, therefore moding cars is not important to him at all. I am simply looking for a fairly quick stock car that looks really good. Concerning the tiburon, it is a nice car but after driving the GTO it was quickly forgotten. I know... 400hp compared to somin small. The Tibby just didn't have enough for us to consider it. Thank you for everyone's imput, it has been most helpful. We plan on going to test drive a RX8 and a 350Z soon.

My friend and i test drove an RX-8 this summer and while its a great car, i dunno if its what your looking for. Gas mileage is not great, rotaries are problematic if not taken care of, and its not super fast. I believe its a high 14 second car, and while thats quick, a GTO or STI are much faster. It handled very well, i watched a Top Gear episode where it tied an M3 and 350Z around their track. I found it similar to an S2000 in how you had to floor it to go anywhere, with its 9,000 rpm redline. Personally
I would get the GTO first, then G35 coupe, then STI

Just to add, there is nothing wrong with "rice" it is just not me or my sons style. another question: when do mazda6speeds come out. We test drove just the Mazda6 with the 6cly and were impressed for a sedan.

Define "rice"

WRX's and Supra's are not "rice". They can be "riced out" but stock both cars are beautiful and amazing cars IMO.

rice is never allright. just cause its an import dont mean its rice but most imports are turned into rice. ive seen some riced out mustangs in my time though. if you get an import no neons, stickers, fart cans, or making your car look like another one. thats how to avoid rice.

I thought that the mazdaspeed6 was supposed to come out in Oct or Nov. Should be a very nice car but not all that fast. Dunno how much boost the engine will be able to handle. Could be a very very fast car with mods.

I read 15.6 psi. Dunno how much it will be able to take though. Hurricane has 930 mb which is 930/68.947= 13.48 psi??? Doesn't really make sense.:lol2: Don't shoot the messenger.

im glad one of those muntant storms hasnt hit north-west FL. Other wise id be telling this guy to buy his kid a Mazda6.
