my key is stuck in the ignition, most people told me that this is usually due to the ignition switch needing to be replaced, but i think it could be something else, because it happened right after my battery died, so i want to know if there is maybe a switch or solenoid? thanks!

No. Not that I'm aware of.I know when i first got my 96 I always had trouble with the key. It was only due to getting used to it tho. I think you have to push it in to get it all the way over to the off position or else it won't come out. Also try turning the wheel a little either way to remove it. In park yes?
