I just installed a K&N Aircharger kit into my 2001 impala ls 3.8l. As i drove down the street to see if everything was ok all of a sudden my "trac off" icon turned on and in the message center it said "Service Traction System"
Also the "ABS" light was on and the "Brake" light was on.
Someone please help me fix this!!!

Also, check to see that you reconnected the air inlet temp sensor that is between the airbox and the throttle body. On other boards, if this sensor is not functioning right then the computer will shut off the trac conrol. Hope that helps.

only add if its low, too much can cause problems, but the abd control and all the brake lines are right there next to where the air box is, so just look it over and make sure you didnt bump anything or accedendally unplug anything with it being so close to were you were working.
but are you sure you didnt apply the parking brake and drive off still. im only saying this because my friend was trying to peel out and applied the parking brake, turned off his traction control and floored it around a corner, and then his service traction system light came on.
