My saturn wont start

Help!
My staurn wont start! I think it is stuck between "gears". Normally when I step on the brake it will allow me to switch gears (when it is off or on). It wont let me do that now. Hence it wont start. I tried rocking the car but that did not work either. Any ideas would be greatly appreicated.

i assume this is a automatic? see if the brake lights work. if they don't check the BRAKE fuse.
