disappointment in this forum

Well I'm just writing to express to the Blazer community how disappointed I am in the forum as a whole. I was expecting overwhelming feedback at the stupidity of my avatar and yet ... nothing ... no response. My decision to use as an avatar, a photo of 'Jake' from 'Pimp My Ride' was intended to draw feedback of a hilarity unlike this forum has ever seen ... and yet ... nothing. Have you not seen this shit!!?? Ya need to watch more MTV !!

It is clear that the great minds of this forum have not yet seen 'Jake' and the look on his face when 'Mad Mike' installed a 23" speaker in the backseat of his cheap-ass Buick, taking up the whole back seat. It took six amps to run that bitch! He had a decibel 'warning light' installed in his dash!! He had a computer in his trunk too (wonder how the big-ass magnet affected that harddrive).

'Jake's' bright-red hair only punctuates his wide-eyed, "not-sure-what-to-think-of-this' look on his 'easy-teenage-new-york-face'.

Anyhow, for the funniest, worst, and strangest "Pimp My Ride" EVER ... check out 'Jake' in Episode 4 -- He'll be retiring as my Avatar hero soon ... enjoy the bass Jake !! Enjoy the bass !!

The combination of the big-ass jackhammer and the look of disbelief on that goofy kid's face was hysterical. It was as if the kid wasn't sure if he really wanted that thing. The look on his face said "unpimp my ride" !!!

I seen the show but im not laughing my butt off. That speaker cost 7500 dollars, just for the speaker, you can get a whole system for about 10,000 and some change!

I hate PMR... dumb show... Do crap work. I've seen better modding on other shows.

I like that show overhauling on TLC, it is wicked some of the rebuilds they do on that show, pimp my ride is cool but so not in touch with reality......a popcorn popper in car a water fountain in an FJ-40 landcruiser??? :screwy:

Don't forget the one with the fishtank! I agree with you 100%. Overhaulin is all about good design and functionality. It's unbelievable that the do a frame-off restoration plus mods in 7 days! Not to mention Foose's awesome design sense.

That is just too much boom! I like my 12 inchers hehe subwoofers that is. The JL's I have hit pretty low but tight at the same time for 12 inchers. They are about 8 years old now and have gone through two amps.

My Cerwin Vega 15" SUCKS. Well not really. My shitty amp sucks. I had to cut a round hole in the back and install a 12volt computer fan in it to keep it COOL. I have my eye on some 12" comps and a pheonix gold 500 watt amp.

2 jl w3v2's and the are awsome... pmr, on the other hand isn't, like i seen someone say, overhaulen is awsome, something about a full resteration including a moter swap, in seven days by guys who can go the entire show without 'dawg' being every other word, and 'gunna be tight' every other saying

o, btw, 'gunna be tight' can be subsidized with 'off the hook'

PMR i gay they had 2 nice cars but most of it is about seing how black a white guys car can look (no offense). As for the sub its overpriced and has no real purpose but to boost the popularity of mtx. They make some nice subs that can hit hard but they usually sound like shit. ANd overhaulin is fucking awsome, they can come steal my blazer for a week.

know what, ill let them keep it for 2, even though its already farking awsome... the jack hammer is a status quo from mtx, its a way of saying other packages are small so the one every one sees is big!

Have a jackhammer in your car, take it to the local weekend "car show" spot and some rich kid will take it off your hands for $5000. You could put a friggin port-a-potty in my ride as long as there is $30,000 worth of electronics in there too. Did you see some of the crap the people were driving before, im sure no one has ever said I want my car back as it was before it was pimped. What you all have to concider is that all of the people whose rides were pimped deserved it. See the show for what it is entertainment, and stop hating....

Why are you hating on us for Criticizing the show, I think we all see it as entertainment or else no one here would have watched it on TV, as far deserving those things, i dont know if they or not, quite simply dont care...I find some of the stuff interesting on that show but is it still useless crap in a car.

Yeah its mostly pointless show car shit anyways. If i remember right they did a chevelle and they actually did the engine on it (tuned in at the last second waiting for viva la bam). Like the lcd screens in the front bumper, no one in there right mind would put that on a daily driver. I wouldnt exaclty say they deserve to have there rides pimped, it was more of a contest of who has the worst looking car out of a group and then the producers picked them, i have a car they can fucking steal and hell id be happy if they fixed the damn windshield. So yeah some people might get lucky and get there car pimped but would you really want a fireplace in the back of a blazer first stop ebay or in better circumstances that 50 inch plasma would look damn good on my wall. So yeah anything for entertainment. Oh yeah 391mph super pimp biotch.
