Hey all..well my name is Sarah and I live in Saint Petersburg Florida. I have a 84' z-28 Camaro 8cylinder auto with a 305. My boyfriend has a 97 z-28 camaro 8-cylinder manual. He is looking for a new one but his linit is $10,000. Is anyone selling?

Sounds to me like he is looking for something LS1 powered. Anything newer than a 1997 is LS1 powered, as you know.
At least that is how I understood her post.

With that being said I have a bad ass (not kidding) 70 Z28 with a 454 and a 4 speed that I'd be willing to let go for $20,000 clams (kinda not kidding). great shape, just needs a person who's a little more mechanically inclined to straighten a few things up! (Totally not kidding... everytime a mechanaprick looks at it I have to take out a new home-equity loan.)

well since u are in my area i may be able to help u out and your boyfriend out in that area, im in tampa and i belong to a f body club that is sposored by our shop (which is an f body shop). we have people selling cars fot that price all the time, if u p.m. me ill give u some info. if u were in here a few months ago he could have got a 99 ss with 46000 miles on it for 10k. guy was in our club and in the airforce, and his wife had a baby and had to sell the car with nothing wrong with it at all, he just wanted the money towards a mini van...smh. maybe we can find u something like that..

I'm designing a railgun type launching system for my camaro. Similiar to what NASA has in mind for space shuttles... If I ever get it worked out I will show you a thing or two about speed.

Its gonna be ugly though... There wont be any paint on the sides. The cockpit will be surrounded in insulating materials, both for electric charge and heat. The sides are going to have to be flat... its gonna be ugly but fast enough to out run a 22. were talking sub 1s here.

i think he had 408hp in his sig, he said that it added 100+hp with 8lbs boost. i think he might have said that he was thinking about building up his engine for 15lbs of boost, or at least he was talking about it

I said nearly up to tripple digits but but I also said its mostly from the shift kit, on down shifts it spins them real easy pretty far up but I am sure I don't have more than 500 horse, I have pretty close though. Estimating on my current set up. I should have between 475 - 485 at the flywheel. Probably like 400 or so at the wheels.

I believe it, I have forged internals on a 383 4 bolt main LT1 and its right around there although I wouldn't touch that much nos maybe half that.

i know i ain't gonna ride in it when he gets it hooked up to the bottle, that thing about gave me a heart attack last time i rode in it

Either way, there are some quick cars. DarkblueTA posts every now and again, and I think he is running a T76 on his car. Should be 650 RWHP there.

now everyone in here knows im the spoksperson for the bottle, im addicted. the engine should break over 400hp with no problem before we get it in the car. and since im building it for big shots of spray im sure it will do just fine. hell i got the 6 running up on ls1's so i know im about to be stupid with one. guys i just may kill myself.....

hell i could have a 900hp car and would spray it just to go faster....i think im a junkie...help me guys i need help. but i know alot of guys who feel the same as u do, and alot of guys dont trust nitrouse, but as time goes on more and more people come around. it always starts when u have that magic number u wanna hit and u are just 40-60 hp away, and then it hits u, a small 75 shot can get me there....then after u do that u start uping the juice....

I am all about compromise. I want a car that has ample power to rip up the strip on its own steem and can take you on a 2 hour drive without overheating and without sucking down gas like a alki.

Got them tack welded today and I bought a jacobs pro street system but haven't installed it yet and I have a cowl ram air hood sitting in the garage that I was suppose to get painted like a month ago and at some point within the next year, I am going to be adding a small charger (like 4.5 - 6 PSI, nothing too massive) then I am done and will start my other project.
