It's a 1991 excel, fuel injected. It turns over, it just won't start. I cracked the bolt at the fuel filter and gas squirts out when I crank the engine, so I'm thinking it's not my less than two year old fuel pump. Any ideas on what I can do? I'm a do it yourselfer.
Thanks, Russell

First, is it possible you didn't actually run out of gas? If you did then I figure you need to run the pump longer to get fuel to the front of the car. I'm also thinking possibly an airlock somewhere in the line (don't know if it's possible or not). That's all I can think of.
