About that autos for girlies comment, I apologies to those who are irrelavant. It was meant for those with hard heads and kept on making insulting replies. What I meant by "roads are not always straight" is that manual transmission can be faster on curved roads with the driver having full control. Drag is not the only kind of driving out there.
even with roads that arent stright or arent flat it is irrelevant onw with some cars and its gonna be irrevelant in few years with continuously variable transmissions becomeing more populare with CVTs you dont have the transmissions trying to find the right gear and there are no gears so you dont have any of the disadvantages of shifting so you have a point about "traditonal" automatic transmissions but not all transmissions
