I got a little creative and decided to paint my radiator fan shroud a ceramic color. Really helps the headers stand out.

If you're happy that's all that matters. It doesn't matter what the rest of us think.
Personally, it's not something I would have done, because, imo, it would get dirty from driving/ wrenching and then the paint would likely scratch while trying to clean it. Then I'd be left with constantly having to repair it.
But maybe you're better at not scratching things while wrenching, or maybe your car is a show car? I drive my stuff and like to work on it, so it wouldn't work for me.
But like I said, it's your car and if it makes you happy, more power to you!

I like it, mine matches the two tone paint scheme on my car but that looks damn good to me and I bet it goes well with your headers.

Yeah I was thinking about that after I finished painting it. When I was tightening the screws back down, the paint got a little scratched when the socket slipped off. But I figure if I have to do some major surgery on the engine, I'll take it off to keep it from being scratched. I just wanted a little "bling bling" to catch people's eyes when they looked under the hood. That way it didn't just look dull. Really, I just got bored. I didn't do it for show. I just kind of wanted to spice up the engine bay a little. But thanks for your compliments guys. And John, do you have any pics of yours? Curious as to how yours looks.

I posted a thread in here with pics of my engine bay and a few clips. You didn't see it?

Yeah I remember watching the clips. But I think I was paying more attention to the engine itself rather then it's appearance lol. I'll try to see if I can dig it up.

Yeah, mine matches the 2 tone black and blue. Oh did you think i meant I painted it to match?, No I meant it matches already the scheme I set up so I left if but your looks great and if I didn't have mine engine bay painted I may have done something like that.
