IWC spell check (Resolved)

There should be spell check, not much more to say. I see many posts with incorrectly spelled words. Think it would make AF even better than it is, especially for people like me who type fast but not that well.
DO NOT REPLY TO THIS POST WITH YOUR SUGGESTIONS ON HOW THE PROPOSED CHANGE CAN BE MADE BETTER. START YOUR OWN IWC THREAD IF YOU HAVE AN IDEA ON HOW TO FURTHER IMPROVE AF AFTER THIS CHANGE PASSES OR FAILS.

how would this work, would the server check automaticaly for errors or would we put the feature where we type what we want to post and wed have to click check spelling like in MS Word.

He was asking HOW the current suggestion would work, not how to change it.
He's not trying to make it better or improve it.
I too am wondering, would it be a button you click for spell check, or would it automatically change the word to the closest comparable word?

I see that, wasn't paying attention :screwy:
Sorry Snowman
I don't think it would matter how it works. Word like would be nice, fixes basic words correctly, underlines incorrect words, & a full spell check option.

I've seen it on one or two other sites. I think the biggest issue is having to create the code without infringing on copywrite, but that's my :2cents:

The only spell check i care about is LEARN HOW TO SPELL "CAMARO"
There is no "E" in the word :nono:
I can live with the rest of the misspellings :grinyes:

By the way, if you are using Mozilla Firefox's most recent version of it's browser you already have a built in SpellCheck. As you type and if you should misspell a word, that word is underlined and you can right click on it to get and choose the correct spelling. A good reason to switch from Internet Explorer if you are currently running that browser.
