2002 shutter when lightly pressing on gas

I just bought the sable 2002 LS 24v v6. If you step on the gas petle to speed up a little it has a sort of bounce to it , some time worse than others the rmps drop when it does it. twice it has done it so bad it shook the car. sort of like its shifting in and out fast, wouldn't do it real bad when I took it back to the dealer just slightly and they said it was the lock out tork converter, and that it is normal. I said I could not believe that ford would build a lux car that would jerk.

Please help what do check, what could it be?????

I'm noticing something similar in a 2002 24 valver too. But this is a shudder when going up a hill, say around 60 or so, after it's shifted to 3rd, and then backing off cause you get going too fast, and it shifts right into 4th lockup...a little shudder. Under harder acceleration, it's super smooth..only when you kinda fake it out does it shudder a little. I'm going to change the oil and filter anyway.

The dealer flushed the tranny and filter change they said they added some additives. said it would get better after 100 miles. Just got more messed up. Now they said they have to change the tranny.

Yes mine is super smooth when pushing it harder let me know what happens

The dealer changed the tran , same prob then they changed a spark plug and wire it fixed the problem .......
