Owned A 05gt

Well on my lunch break i decided to take a drive because i wasn't hungry well, at the light this 05gt pulled up next to me and he had the elanor body kit, well this man thought he was all that, well i didn't want to race well he revved his engine and that was all i needed as soon as the light turned green i owned him by two car lengths, he had the wtf :eek7: look on his face.

lol actually the problem is that the vss in the t56 sends out a much stronger signal than what my speedo is designed to handle... so when i'm going about 10 mph my speedo reads around 100... and any faster than that its just bouncing off the stop, and my odometer is spinning incredibly fast... i'll rack up 120 miles when i really went like 2... but i got a part on the way that will reduce that signal and i'll be good to go

Chill out man, hey everyone else already told him nice kill, doesnt mean I got to go with the crowd, plus Supras are slow unless its turboed and GTs are slow too, i'd be owning GTs if I had a V8 in my Monte instead of a 6, so until then i'll be owning regular stangs.

the new gt's arent that slow. I still have a good amount of pep. No match for a modded LT1 but no real slouch either. But not fast. So rallysport has a point. I dont like mustangs very much either. Thats why I am here. Good kill though. It seems that the majority of people who buy mustangs dont know very much about the cars and so they dont mod the engines very much. Thats not to say that all of them dont though...............eggs................

05 gt's can run mid 13's i've heard... that's definately no slouch... i would never call them an easy kill, the older gt's yes but these 05 ones really do have some balls...

but in the end, nothin is a match for lt1 third gens, they are GOD :evillol:

hell when did supras become slow? hell thats about the only import most of us will respect they haul ass...the new gt's are not much faster than the old ones they got the most gains out of the v6 going from 190hp to around 240 or 50 as they say. i cant seem to get any of them to race me, everytime i pull up next to one its either some old dude or chick driving and they dont even look at me. i tried a new roush yesterday but the guy told me it was too wet out so he didnt wanna run...smh. im hateing because i want to get one sooooooo bad and i cant

well i was wanting too much, i decided to put her on the dyno and go through both stages of the spray, and on the first run we noticed the air to fuel was a bit off so after looking at the sheet we figured i had some ping going on...we also had the hp tuner hooked up on the inside so we could moniter the car. well we didnt spray at all we decided to drive her around on the street while we messed with the numbers on the tuner and all of a sudden the car starts running at 260..hot as hell i had to pull over and the damn thing cut off. i was so pissed. had to let her sit for an hour before she cooled down enough for me to take her home. so this weekend will be spent trying to get her running good but for the ping and knock im getting im about to call it a day with that setup since the ls6 is about done. so yeah i may have broke her, oh yeah i 4got to tell u all 3 weeks ago it rained like hell and i drover her through deep water and she cut off. didnt do it on purpose, but i thought i hydro locked it. i took the top end apart and let her dry and the next day i put her back together and changed the oil and she started right up, but its been running funny ever since that day, so yeah i broke her

i know right....the messed up part was it looked like it was just a little bit of water on the ground and next thing i know waves are flying. i tried to get out but she cut off before i could make it out of my complex. i should have just cut her off right when i saw it was high. now im rushing the guy whos building my engine, and i may have to wait on some of th extras because i need the engine now. i wanted to do a cam, and forged pistons cause u know im spraying it..and headers, but it may be stock everything for now. this sucks ass

My grandfather took his 03 Impala for a swim 3 weeks after he bought it. Like FLOAT DOWN THE STREAM swim! Laughed my ASS off when he was telling me about it... "Well, I saw the water was up to the guard rail, so I tried to go real slow, cause I knew it was pretty high and I didn't want to get washed away... the next thing you know the fucking car is spinning around, floating though a fucking field that's usually covered with cow shit, and Im thinking... Oh my seats are gonna be ruined now... and finally after I get about sick of spinning around the bastard comes to rest near a fucking chicken coop, next to a mexican whorehouse. I'll be damned if that isn't just totally nasty. Well I guess we'll dry her out and see if my chew floated away... god dammit, I just bought a whole case, had it sitting in the back seat. Think it'll be any good?"

He just died last month and I'm still laughing about that, sucks that he's gone, but jesus christ did he do some funny shit.

Before pulling my motor, I was right there with the 383 LT1 cars. Door to door with two different guys with 383's.

My buddy wants me to all out and convert it into a supercharged lt4, but i still want it as a daily driver, i mean could you imagine a supercharged lt4

this is a little late and i would have brought it up earlier if i would've saw it but i'm seriously doubting that 240 or 250 from 05 v6 mustang. the 05 gt's are only putting out about 255. but if the cheaper v6's are putting out that much power that's probably why there are so many of em.

dude no. about 255rwh it was on horsepower tv. they dynoed it each time after they added something. 255 base, + about 10 for cold air intake, + about 6 or 7 for flowmasters, + nitrous for about 330rwh total

255-265 RWHP sounds about right for a car rated at 300HP.

LMAO the 05 GT, sorry to tell you guys but is by no means a slow car. Last time i was at the track there was an 05 GT running. All he had was an intake and he was playing with a bunch of different ECU settings. HIs best that night was a 13.4@107 im not 100% of the trap, but the ET is correct. So an 05 mustang GT with a filter and different MAP setting ran a 13.4. Thats by no means slow.

yea that one i saw modded put 330 to the ground with a better intake, flowmasters, a little shot of nitrous and stock tune. change the shot to a 150 get the tune right and that's gonna be some serious power
