ur ac is probably plugged....same thing happened to me once....the fan would flood in the rain too....u could hear water in there when i was turning etc...it'd leak first rainwater, then eventually AC condensation onto the passenger floor...

yea man wtf is up with the rain water for christ sake. I got in my car the other day after a storm and waslate for work and i kept hearing the sound of water moving back and forth. I was like "what the fuck is that, great something else is wrong with this fucking thing" anyway i happened to look over to the passenger side and saw lake erie. Holy Shit! man there was so much goddamn water. How the hell do i fix this?

like i said, it's the AC drainage ports...they get clogged w/ dirt and grime, and the rainwater and/or AC condensation flows into the AC...don't let it go, I did and it burned out my AC blower motor...

well all i know is that if you take that plastic piece under the wiper blades there is the cabin filter and a direct route to the passenger compartment. I dont have a cabin filter in there for some reason, and i keep forgetting to pick one up.

I had the same problem with my 2001 Impala. It was repaired under warranty by the dealer.I found the invoice which said "found weatherstrip under cowl on right side coming off...reinstalled weatherstrip" Maybe this will help... Thank God for the rubber floor on the 9c1.

I know the cowl piece on the passenger side comes off, causing all water to run directly on the blower motor, then onto the carpet. But let's not forget about the little 90 degree boot on the firewall, that gets clogged up and causes water to leak on the carpet also. It's located directly behind the pass. side of the engine, it's a rubber 90 degree boot that has two small holes on the tip of it. U can pop it right off. I took mine off of my 2000 Impala, and found the tip to be totally clogged. Took a pair of cutters and snipped the end off, making it a much larger hole. Haven't had a problem since.
