stupid alarm???

what is the symbol in my message center with the car and the wrench in it?? is it a service engine light?? why does it only come on when when i start the car after i pull my door handles and my door is locked or when i double unlock it?? it used to go away after i lock and unlock the doors and it only happened once in a blue moon but today after work it stayed on till i got home. i went back out to see and it wont come on now. also when i have just the accessories turned on it flashes between my battery light and some thing with what i think is representation of a padlock. i dont have a owners manual so im not sure of all the symbols.

well, either you live in canada or the car was made to be used in canada, for some reason there are different signs for us and canada, depending on the vehicle. your is canadian, and your first symbol, the car with the wrench is "service vehicle soon" and the second is the security light, which is the only time if its flashing between that and the battery is when you have it on acc, its fine all of them flash those two when its only on acc. as to why your car is flashing service vehicle soon, I dont nkow sorry cant help. but in reply to your e-mail to me the push bumper I have on my car, its at galls.com and at the top just search for ss065 and it will pop right up. you dont have to drill any hols or weld it to your car, it has a bracket/clamping system to it that holds it on, which was a bit of a pain to get it in but it was also like 20 degrees when I was doing it. and with shipping and tax it comes to about $215.
