96 ISC Question

1996 3.8L Windstar. 65K miles. I just completed removal and cleaning of the ISC. Is it normal that there is no gasket material on this units mating surface, other then the two o-rings?

I think you are talking about the IAC? Idle air control? If so, no gasket that I know of . I have had mine off of my '96 a few times.
