Hey all, My name is Rob and I just inherited a 2000 Impala LS. I'm curious about a certain part. On most Impalas (I Think) the front fender has an indented mold for a front mounted licence plate. One of my co-workers drives an Impala SS and where that mold is at, he has a part in there that brings the tip of the bumper together. It reads "Impala". It looked much better then the standard indent on my car. I was wondering if anyone could give me more information on that.
-Is it apart of a body kit or a seprate piece?
-By a chance, do you know the part number?
-How much does it cost?
-Is it hard to install?
I work at a GM car dealership so I could easily order the part from there, unless anyone had a better idea.
If I could get some help I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!!

Firstly, Welcome Rob.
Now to your question, its a seperate piece.
Part_Number 88954949
Part_Name Front License Plate Filler
Price $57.55
Short_Description "Impala"
Thats what your looking for I do believe, if i'm wrong someone will correct me.
As for hard to install, I highly doubt it, though i'm not sure how it works myself.
Hope that answers your questions.

Hey, Thank you so much for the response. I anticipated that part to be more expensive. The part number really helps too! I can use my connections here at work to get it! Thanks once again! You answered my questions!!!
