Has anyone done a throttle body bypass on their impala? I'm thinking about it, it looks like a pain in the $#@, and I'm uncertain of how much performance it actually provides...
Any info would be great. Thanks, fun driving....

My friend did it on his 3.4 alero and noticed a considerable change. I'm going to do it and see what it does for me. I've installed a high flow cat, cool air intake and a tornado air. Car runs as good as the 3.8L. I can chirp the front tires. I have an 01 imp 3.4L.

the only way you would notice any performance on your car is if you did 1 of 3 things. nitrous or supercharger or turbo. and thats it. all these people going around guessing don't know shit. you spend 700$ dollars on some headers and 250$ on a cold air intake. between the both you'll gain maybe 6-12 hp and 10-12 lbs of torque, maybe. c' mon a thousand dollars for maybe a 1 sec. better time slip. it aint worth it. if you don't believe me get your car on the dyno and get readings before the mods and then after the mods. and I don't wanna hear any bullshit like" my friend got his car on the dyno before and after the header installation and he got 25 horses and 50 lbs. of torque". it ain't true. remember that old saying (it's too good to be true). why do you think turbo's and superchargers cost so much. because they actually work. actually the 3.4's are better for forced induction because they have lower compression. and the 3.8's are better for nitrous because they have higher compression.
