Car won't start; checked battery; disconnected one cable; reconnected; checked fluid level in battery; lights will turn on; car won't start. Appreciate any suggestions. Car has approximately 30K on it. It's a 2003.

Could be the starter. Try tapping it while someone turns the key to start. It may take several trys to get the starter to kick in.

Thanks! I put in a new battery, and so far that is taking care of the problem. May still be a problem w/the starter, but will just have to wait and see.
