are there any risks to installing a resistor in the intake temp sensor? long term? short term? i'm taking about the ones that trick the car's computer into thinking the air temp is perfect, resulting in a higher fuel consentration...I've bought one, and I feel more power as advertized, but I'm concerned about long term risks...Please advise.

the car's computer is so sensitive it will throw a check engine light on. and performance would be so low if any you would notice the loss of fuel more than performance.

I bought one from pfyc.com and I use it every now and then and I've had zero problems with it. With the price of gas nowadays I seem to be using it less and less
