Man do you have some balls! Don't get caught again, them VA cops are real PRICKS.

so why are you mad at the cops????? you sped, you got caught, its not their fault. And to keep driving on a suspended licence, man, people like you are the reason my insurance is so high.

and a side note, I have NEVER had an encounter with a Virginia STATE police officer that was unpleasant, even being pulled over. Military Police, and small town sheriffs tend to be a bit power drunk and abusive of their athoraty, but Virginia state police are well trained, and respectable professionals.

i even got the set of goodyear eagle tires that are on my IROC from a virginia state police highway patrolmans camaro interseptor when he had a new set put on. They replace the tires at about 50% tred, so he let me take the old tires that are still plenty good. saved me about 900 bucks.

i got pulled over in VA last thursday on Rt. 17 coming home from Nags Head, i was driving my friends Toyota Matrix. I was doing 73 in a 55. got off with a warning. what im pissed off about is he had his radar on me and he was driving the opposite way on Rt.17....

The guy that pulled my wife over (albeit 88 in a 55... yeah I know) accused her of "defying his authority", said he was staring at him, taunting him. I almost started laughing, but the bulging veins in his neck, his bugging out eyes and the way he was twitching told me not to. You would have thought that once he saw the baby puke, heard the screaming and all that bullshit, he would have given weight to the fact that she panicked as I jumped over the seat to help my choking daughter. PRICK.

my brother got pulled over a few months ago for no insurance and they took his liscense. when he got insurance they would give his liscernse back........then he was still driving on a suspended liscensed . cop pulled him over in town cause the cop couldnt see his liscense plates in the window. found out he was driving on a suspended liscensed, Yanked him out of the car, patted him down, gave hime some nice shiny bracelets and drove him to jail.............now his insurance is outrageous ( 99 sunfire gt).......and he still dont have his liscense back.......not worth........atleast to me

just thank god u werent in roanoke...i got locked up there for speeding and at the time i was a military cop...no love lol. in va they damn sure dont play 20 over is reckless driving and that sucks if u get taged with that. hell in va beach where i use to live if they catch u going too fast (whatever that is) they will take your car and the only way u can get it back is buy it at the auction they will be selling it at...

people were passing you while you were doing 137mph??? so youre saying you were racing on I-95, damn man, now i really wish you luck in court, if the cop brings that up youre in trouble for sure.

I got screwed in court by my lawer and the MP who got me to do 74 in a 35, on a military base, that was fun. but it was also entrapment. gotta luv unmarked cars at one in the morning tailgateing you. Moral of the story, make sure you get a lawer you trust, mine was afraid of the judge so he didnt do anything for me.

THAT is completely fucked up. I wonder if anyone has ever looked at their scheme there and determined it was legal. I understand emminent domain, but that only applies to land. How can they take your car and sell it? All I can say is anyone that did that to me better be wearing a bullit proof vest for quite a long time. They'd never see it coming from about 500 yards...

I'll bet they still have a real estate tax to support the police. Total bunch of pricks.

Actually, I joined a range here last year has a 600 yard silhouette range. It's absolutely beautiful. NOT TO TOOT MY OWN HORN... but benched up and all I'm pretty good to about 300-400 yards. 500 would take a little practice, I'm getting rusty but I've got a bunch of brass ordered so I can hone up! I've shot the 600 several times when my father-in-law was a member. Difficult to do with a decent cross wind, but no wind... look out!

I LOVE SHOOTING STUFF. And anybody messes with my maro... it would be sheer pleasure to throw some cross hairs on.

btw: Currently have 32 guns (mostly long guns, a couple revolvers and 4 derringers....) had to get rid of a bunch, no place to put them, didn't feel like buying a bunch of safes and the kids are getting adventureous.

I got caught a while back racing my friend down Atlantic Blvd (large, busy, 6 lane road) at 2 am. There was no one on the streets. So we went for it while waiting at a red light. Then out of nowhere I see lights behind me. I got pulled over and my friend took off and hid back in a neighbourhood. I pulled into a starbucks into a parking space while the cop pulled up behind me and blocked me in. It was kind of funny what he said after that. He was being a real dick, and started yelling at me warning me that if I even think of driving off then he'll put a warrant out for my arrest. Yet.. I was in a parking space with a curb and a crap load of bushes in front of me, while he was blocking me in from behind. But yeah, I got a ticket for reckless driving, he didn't have his radar on so he couldn't give me a speeding ticket. Went to court about a month or so later, the judge asked what I did to get the ticket. I said I was doing about 15 over and the officer didn't have his radar on so he gave me a ticket for reckless driving. The judge just told me to be sure to not do it again. All I gotta pay is $240 by the end of the year for court costs. The only thing I really hated about the whole experience was all the junk mail you get from lawyers offering to represent you in court and the DMV sending you packets about traffic school. That craps just annoying.

i wanna shoot like i guy i saw on tv the other day, using an old trapdoor rifle shooting a .45-70 cartrage, and using open target sights like tom selek used in quigly down under, he nailed a 16in bullseye from 1137 yards away...... three times in a row. He's my hero.

600 yards isnt all that hard so long as you have an accurate enough rifle. Im decent at close range with a handgun, but with a rifle, im not to shabby myself. ;) Im thinkin we have a combined camaro/shooting get together :-D

Agreed, I'll bring mine as well. What do you call close range with a pistol?

well, depends on the pistol, with my police issue S&W high capasity 9mm i can dump 15 rounds into about a five inch spred rapid fire at 7 yards. And i can shoot 4in groups of five at 15 yards.

With my S&W highway patrolman in .357 mag i can shoot one inch groups at 15 yards and 3 inch groups at 25 yards

Im saving up to buy a S&W .460 Mag next, although i dont know if thats really for close range ;)

but like i said, im much better with a rifle, i can bullseye a target with my 12 gauge at 30 yards. There arent any long range shooting ranges around where i live (too crowded) so i havent done any real long rifle shooting, but with a compressed air rifle at my cabin, i could hit the UPC lable on a soda can from a half acre away. I get it from my dad, He scored sharp shooter in the navy even with mis-adjusted sights that they wouldnt let him correct for windage.

Oh and Earlsfat, i love the name you came up with, i think im gonna start making T-shirts lol

pj's and combat controlers are part of air force special tactics. i'm well aware of both of those, my point is the air force calls it special tactics... i in no way was dissing the air force. my dad works at SOCOM and i have been in the spec ops community my whole life (i'm sure u've heard of the 160th SOAR, my dad was in command of the regiment 2 years ago). and i live on MacDill so i know about the air force, the only reason i said that was because i've had many MP's (or SP's if u will) on this base call themselves SF, which stands for security forces.

of course air force has special operations, they just call it something different. special forces (green berets) is army.

i used to want to be in the air force special tactics, but i decided to stay true to my roots. i am going into college through Army ROTC and plan on being a ranger at first, and hopefully somewhere along the line become a green beret.

what about airborn??? is that airforce or is that army?

airborne is also army, airborne is more like a status, not a unit itself... a unit can be an airborne unit and soldiers can be airborne qualified but airborne itself is not a specific unit. those that are airborne qualified wear jump wings, and if a soldier is in an airborne unit he/she will wear jump boots with all their uniforms (class A, B, and C)

you've probably seen band of brothers before which was the 101st airborne division, there is also the 82nd airborne. but now the 101st is actually an air assault division. soldiers in the 101st are both airborne and air assault qualified. while i lived at ft. campbell kentucky i went to an "introduction" to air assault school, it flat kicked my ass, but it was a blast.

I agree Seals are badass, thats why i was in training to become one for a while. end of senior year i was ready to inlist and voulunteer for BUDS. But then i found out that they have strict medical guidelines, and i have a previous spinal cord injury and a history of knee problems, and i was told i wouldnt be accepted, so i quit training.

Although i guess im gonna have to start training again, read in the news that the pentagon is massing a central information tank on 16 and 18 year olds and all college students, ages, races, feilds of study, and creating a list of people eligable for military service, they say its to improove recruiting effectiveness, i say its the groundwork for a draft.

well not to spark a political debate, but bush was re-elected, were in a war we cant pull out of, or win with how its currently being fought, and the ranks are thinning due to inadiquate weaponry (M16 / M4) and political leadership.
