Ok i don't usually do this. Never tried to sell anything on here because most of the time people get pissed... but...I have a valve cover from a 97 GSX in my garage. I need to get rid of it because i need the extra cash. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you want it. The thing is, whoever wants it can have it in any color they wish. I will personally paint it along with the letters/numbers. It can even be polished. Most of you seen what i did with my old valve cover. It came out *perfect*. Gloss black with polished letters. To this day it has only gotten a very small chip in it because of the cherry picker chain smacking it. What i do is let it soak in a tub full of cleaner, take it out, hand wash it, blow it off, soak it again, hand wash again, then sand. I start sanding with 180grit, go to 200, 400, then finish with 600. I then soak it in soapy hot water, take it out, dry it, blow it off, and carefully mask off the letters/numbers. Then i use a tack cloth to get any dust/dirt off of it. I then use an expensive high temp paint called VHT (very high temperature). The only place i could find it around here was at Summit. Autozone carries VHT but for calipers. Anyway VHT has numerous colors to choose from. When i start the actual painting process, i lay 4 - 6 light coats and it eventually starts to shine like a piece of glass. After that, i bake it in an oven to cure the paint. If anyone is interested in buying this valve cover from me, let me know. I take my time when it comes to stuff like this. You're not going to get a valve cover that has collected grease and oil for the past 8 years that just has paint slapped over it. When i did my own, it took literally over 12 hours for the whole process. If you want to see it, i posted pics of it a while back. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=341593
The paint that i use is good stuff. Very durable and looks incredible.
The price i'm asking is reasonable IMO. I looked on ebay and i seen powder coated ones for $95+ and that's not including shipping. I will even include a new PCV valve. I'm asking $75 shipped. Normally i wouldn't post something like this on here, but i think $75 is a hell of a good price considering all the time it takes, plus the cost of paint/materials, and i'm even throwing in a new PCV valve. The valve cover i have is in excellent shape. No cracks, holes, etc. Let me know if any of you are interested.

oh, forgot to add....if whoever wants it, doesn't want it painted and just plain, i will clean it until it shines, and sell it for $45 shipped.
