well vtec cams wont work too well in a non vtec motor... but other than that, the rest should fit.

i don't understand what the question was.

hes basicly just asking if parts from different d-series motors can be interchanged.

actually depending on the tranny, it will. i think its the 90-91 DX and Si trannys that use the sameclutch disc as the later hydo trannys. i know for a fact that the input shaft on the 88 base model is smaller than the input shaft on the 91 DX and Si, cause i tried putting a DX trans in one of my STD cars, but didnt have the cash to get another clutch disc. needless to say i had to wait until i could swing the price of the new disc.

i even used a flywheel from a 91 DX on a 98 EX once, and it bolts on the same, and the pressure plate from the EX worked too. the owner broke the ring gear off the flywheel and it made the starter just free spin the ring gear. so i put a 91 DX flywheel in it, and everything bolted up.

The 88 tranny has a different # of splines on the imput shaft. You can use that tranny on any D series motor if you use a 88-89 flywheel and a 88 disc.

You can use any 89-00 tranny on any 88-00 motor. You just have to match the clutch to the correct flywheel. So if you want to use a 92 or newer ACT clutch on a 89-91 motor and tranny just use the 92 and newer flywheel and you are good to go.

The 92 and newer trannys are "hydro" trannys. You need to use a 88-91 "cable" tranny in your CRX.

And please learn to spell so we can understand what you are saying :banghead:
