I rode in a Z-28 in the 11's, and it was on 4.56 gears. Shifted a LOT! He would be at the end of 4th when I was halfway through 3rd.

Probably for an 1/8th mile car.

Otherwise, you would be finishing in 5th gear, and that will tear up a tranny. You don't really want to shift into gears that are less than 1:1 at WOT. Beats a tranny up.

In any case, it's still nuts. Think of the pucker factor for someone, thier first time riding it?

i believe if you swapped in a ford 9" rearend, you could buy crazy stuff like 7.36 or something around that gears. THAT is nuts.
