Paris Hilton just called and said "that's HOTT!"
I agree  .
I wonder if she would be willing to make another "soaped up commercial" using CADguys Viper as a prop? :smokin: :evillol:
The viper looks awesome by the way Matt. Great work on that CF!

I really like it Matt. I see these cars at work and they look better everytime I see them, nice to see something other than black, red or yellow.
I have one small criticism and thats the push out pins on the underside of the hood. Normally I wouldnt say anything but you did alot of other work there with the emblem and stuff. Otherwise keep up the good work.

Yeah, I slacked on the bottom of the hood. I'll try to make the rest of the build so fantabulous they aren't noticeable. :)
I got a ton of stuff accomplished today.
Installed the motor. This is the only time you'll ever see the CF driveshaft. It's not visible from beneath like I thought it might be. OOPS.

I added some CF decals to a couple of boxes under the hood, on each side of the motor. and detail painted the enginebay.

Decaled and detail painted the dash, and added some BMF to the steering wheel center.

Mock up of engine/chassis/interior. I painted the seat centers also. I had planned to leave them one color but the interior was too dark, so i lightened it up a little bit.

Overall shot.

It looks OK as is, I've mocked mine up in a couple pics. I may lower the front end of mine just a bit. Only to give it a little meaner stance.

Hey, CADguy! This is one helluva Viper buildup. I'd never seen the CF Viper befor this thread, and let me say that it is certainly worthy inspiration.
These cars are beautiful, really loud, and SCARY FAST (Believe me, I once got to drive one round an autocross course. The acceleration in 2nd gear pulled my eyeballs out through the back of my head. Literally. Sweet Jesus!)
Anyhoo. Fantasteriffic job so far. I can't even express how perfectly you work that CF decal. Keep going!

She's done! I'm still awaiting a new CF decal sheet to decal the hardtop, but other than that, this build is in the bag.
I really liked this kit. It built up like a dream. Kudos to Revell for bringing us a great kit.
Here's a teaser pic until I get some daylight shots.

Thanks for all the awesome comments, and critiques during the build-up. It made the build that much more fun.
