window doesn't roll up

Can anyone explain this or has anyone else experience this? When the weather is hot or humid the drivers window switch works just fine, my driver window rolls up & down. But when nighttime comes around and the weather gets cooler the drivers window rolls down but not up. it won't work at all.

help me I'm baffled

what year impala? I had to replace the switch on my driver side because it wouldn't roll up.

I have a 2000 impala. Was it expensive?

i bought a whole new window control unit (the thing with the window lock and 4 window switches) for $117 i think it might have been cheaper i went to the dealer

I have do get a new switch for my drivers side window also....sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...but i never worked when it was raining....LOL....
