97 Passager side power window won't work

My 97 mercury passager side window will not work from the driver side controls and passager side controls but the mirror and locks do work I think it is the switch or window motor I think more so the switch because the window just stopped working. My question is, is it easy to change the switch from removing the door panel to finding and replacing the switch and how do i determine if it is the switch and not the motor. If anyone has done this can I get a short how to.

Start by seeing if you are getting power to the motor.

I have the same problem and I battled with it about 5 or six times. Sometimes I just can't get the window up. When it hapens I take the dorr panel out and probably a speaker to. I sligthly tap the motor or try to move parts iside the door.
I know its a barbarian method but its the only method I've tried.
