GSX vs H22 powered CRX

Sorry for the lack of updating. Still waiting to get my baby back (insurance is really giving me some major problems). So no updates as of yet.

I actually know that my car runs 12's as it sits. I've raced numerous 12sec - low 13 sec cars and beat them, I beat a M3, 03 Cobra, Modded WS6, Evo XIII, STI's, Supercharged 2002 Mustang GT, Civic Hatch with B18C5 swap, Talon TSI/AWD with Evo 16g(girlfriend driving, missed second, still walked the Talon), 05 Mustang GT (missed second gear bad, got back on it and continued to pull), 04 GTO (LS1).

I've even posted videos of my car running and also of my setup on this site. I think I've proven my credibility enough on this site by my kill list, videos, and stories.

BTW: You said I might be suprised my a N/A no turbo lag 12 sec car. I've beaten cars with no lag. Actually my car doesn't even experience Lag with my turbo. Thats the beauty of 5500 rpm launches and ALL WHEEL DRIVE.

It's a CRX, not a Civic. CRX's are much lighter than a Civic is, and he was questionable about it, never said he was scared of it. Plus, he didn't know exactly what was done to it either.

crx's are much lighter than civics. an h22 swap will almost make me say damn.

I wasn't scared, Just I know power to weight is a big factor and I know that a stock H22 puts out about 200 hp with the light weight of the crx. Almost 1hp per 10lbs. but I dont know too much about honda's thats why I asked. I damn sure aint scared.

Hmm, a 10:1 weight to power ratio isn't much to worry about bro.

C5 Z06, 3200lbs + 405hp = 7.9:1

My old 240z, 2200lb + 300hp = 7.3:1
Although, My car may of had a better weight to power ratio than a Z06. I didn't have the power to keep up, I played with one once... and I was competitive till about 80mph. And I got walked... luckily the race didn't go much faster than 80mph.

I don't think you'll have much trouble with the CRX man... AWD will get you out of the hole fast. And turbaahh power should keep you ahead.

Your right red, but with them crx's you never know. Just trying to get everyone else's opinion, in case I didn't know what I was talking about.

To be honest, I already know I would win. Just wanted to talk to you guys about it.That damn H22 Crx for sure isn't putting down 12's. Plus with all that H22 torque (lol honda torque) to the front wheels, He would never be able to launch with me, let alone keep up through the 1/4 mile. I would win from start to finish, and keep pulling afterwards.


By the way, I wish I would have gotten my car back before you sold the panda......... Would have be cool to get a video of us racing. It was a 12 sec car right? I'm not too far from you.

12 second car on a good day, with maybe drag radials and a perfect launch.

But, realisticly low 13s. According to the Gtech 13.4 @ 106mph. With 2000LS1Z28's big ol butt riding shotgun on a back road which wasn't the best for traction. Fun times.

I'm sure you'll win against the Honda. To be honest, if he doesn't have slicks/DR's, he's gonna be hosed. AWD advantage on the street is huge. Thank goodness for my BFG Drag Radials.
