Now I got little problem to choose roll-bar material.
And then I think tell you which is better :

I'd choose the latter of the 2...

Ok, roll-bar material is choosed. :)
But better wheels are very hard to find in Estonia, here are no car model shops and that's because I get these wheels on old Camaro model. :(

I used original Golf 4 parts, what i made longer. It need a little work and then it's ready to put it on the dragster. Tomorrow I sand it a little and then I use filler to get better end result.

And one question to last pic. What do you think is this better now or I make it as long as basic plate ? :screwy:

Today I had made race car door. I lost speaker box with speaker and handgrip. New polster will be ready soon. :smile:
In pic you can see first coat of filler what need a lot of refinement.

Yesterday I had sanded door and now it looks better but needs little work :

Ouch, a little excessive, sure hope there's going to be a massive motor underneath that to accomidate.

The seats look awesome though.

Christ ya lost me...The golf, gti, are fwd. Your model is becoming rwd by the looks of it. Which is it going to be? Fwd or rwd? If it is fwd, why did you tub the back? If it is rwd, what engine ar you going to "use". I do have some imagination, but you just have me confused with your posts. Keep up the awsome work.

My model is becoming rwd, engine I don't know jet because this car don't have open hood. ( maybe Viper V10 )

I think you should cut out the indent in the front bumper where the license plate goes for intercooler space.

Idea is good but it's quite sh*t work, because dremmel can do it very very slow but hacksaw is too big for this work. Can anybody tell me 3. change ?

Use a drill bit, and drill holes into each corner then slowly, and I mean slowly move it across and basically cut it out with a drill bit, make sure you have plenty of lubricant, or you'll just mess up your drill bit. ;)

Ok thats one change, but I think that I use dremmel nevertheless, it takes lot of time but finish will be nice.
But I have question, What dremmel you have ? I have that : 8000-18000rpm, 12V and that too slow.

I have the 30,000 rpm plug in dremmel with snake wand attachment.

No I haven't stop building that dragster.
Today I made that hood scoop much better and now I like it more thanbefore. I have some new ideas too but I talk of these later.

My first new plan is that : I want to make same front bumper bottom.

And second plan is that : I want to make grill all clean ( no Vw sign and vents )

Two days work and front bumper is almost ready.
Yesterday I made new interior bottom with plastic ( not tin anymore ), think plastic is much better to this part. :wink:

Pics will be here next week because I don't have camera program in lap top and second computer is broken. :(

that hood scoop is scrazy! a little bit too wild for my taste. but i really like what you did with the front and rear bumpers

Yes, that scoop is huge, but I don't want rebuild it because it takes so much time.

what material is the cage made of?

The cage isn't homemade, it's Bburago Ford Focus cage, it's made of plastic. ;)
