nice bumper but make it a little bit wider on the bottom and make some ?half-circle? holes for exhaust tip/s maybe some vents?? What do u think?

That hood scoop is very excessive, it's way to big for the 4 cyl. motor that's in that car, to big even for a 6 cyl. I sure hope you plan to drop a V8 in there.

Yea, yea, yea, I know that it's too big, but like I say : It's too big work to make all new and I don't want mess with that, but finish will be better.
No vents in back bumper. For drag I think it's so better ( stream lined :p ) Exhaust will be in side.

It's really hard to build something from scratch in Estonia, because you can't buy styrene or modelling tools from the shops....so...it's good work...

visible33

Now some pics of progress.

I make that huge hood scoop little bit smaller. First I saw scoop off :

http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/4058/p90103317vw.jpg

Then I use file and make scoop 3 mm lower but I make it more lower :

http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/1803/p90103326tq.jpg

And then I use filler to make hood little bit better :

Ok, now you can see how I rebuild hood scoop. After that when I saw hood scoop off it change little bit it hade and so I have to build one part new.

First I saw off part of hood scoop what was beyound hood :

http://img359.imageshack.us/img359/6218/pc2804895go.jpg

Then I sand it little bit :

http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/3387/pc2804912gg.jpg

And last thing what I had done is use filler to primp scoop :

http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/1049/pc2804924px.jpg

And here are pictures how I look like now :

Before :

oooo right fair point, btw visible33 what did you make the dashboard out of ? it looks really good !!!

visible33
12-29-2005, 07:20 AM
Ok, now I have some questions about fiberglass. I had used that on real cars and there was it ok, but now, I wonderd that I cover scoop with fiberglass, then it's more stronger and little bit unvaried. But maybe fiberglass is too fat for make this thing ?

Dashboard is made of wood. And filler.

LA-CUSTOMS
12-29-2005, 07:35 AM
thanx! i think im goin to make one, you could use fiberglass on ur hud but jus use very small amounts at a time, its harder to use as you proby know but it doesnt dry as quick as filler so u can play bout with it until you think its right, for sanding it down use quite a course file u shud be fine, good luck !

visible33

Bodyparts are made of filler and for cleaning body I use 600 sandpaper.
