hey, I have a 96 sc2 with an automatic transmission, had it rebuilt about a year and a half ago.... after it was done, it was leaking fluid, got it fixed, now its got a slow leak from the same place it was leaking before. is it safe to use that "Stop Leak" stuff or something like it to get it to stop? it is coming from where two parts come together (sorry for the informality im not a mechanic... or english teacher) but it is in a place where a gasket comes between the two parts, and it is leaking through that. its not enough to notice on the ground where i park at all, although it is gravel driveway....but anyways... any advice about the stop leak stuff? thanks, Chris

can you be more procise about the location of the leak?
i haven't heard anything good or bad about auto trans stop leak. but if the level is steady, i wouldn't worry
