A/c Blower Stopped

95 SL 1.9 Liter 134,866 manual transmission. This morning I started my car, no problems. I let the engine warm up and since I live in Texas I turned on the A/C. I drove to the gas station and turned off the car.
When I started the car again the A/C blower stopped working along with the cooling fan. The "Service engine soon" sign came on. I just replaced the Fan Relay, Temperature sensor, and the thermostat. Here is the where it gets strange. I drove the car home and once there I was turning the ignition key, the blower and cooling fan began to work again. The service light also went out. I tried turnng off the car and back on a couple of time to see if it would happend again but it did not.The car ran fine. Hope anyone can help me with some ideas.

thanks

Tacuvito.

if it doesn't happen again, and everything works normal now, consider it a fluke. if it comes back, pull the codes using this method - http://www.differentracing.com/tech_articles/diag_info.html

I think it was my ignition switch. I might have short there. I went a used car dealer where they had another car and the ignition in that car did not feel as loose as mine. However I will try to get those codes. Thank you for you help.

That's interesting......I have noticed over the past 6 months or so that my ignition switch has been looser also. In addition, I have had issues on 4 or 5 occasions getting the key in or out of the ignition. It doesn't really explain why braking caused the car to cut out (see my previous post) but it could be a contributing factor, I suppose.
