I have a 99 windstar and for going on a year the abs light has been on. Since then it has has new brakes and the light is still on. It comes on at start up sometimes, 5 minutes into driving others, or just not coming on. This van has been a lemon since new and is annoying. There are constant little things that break or fall out. Maybe it was made on a monday morning? Any help would be great.

Have the ABS code read. You will need to go to a place that is capable of reading the ABS. I think most parts houses only read engine emission codes. If you know someone with a scanner that can read the ABS system, have them drive it while looking at the wheel speed sensor data. You may find one of the sensors is not reading the same speed as the others. If you get a code, post back and we can assist you in the diagnosis.
