It was about 700 shipped I believe, drop an email to [email protected] thats who I was dealing with, Great guy.
The engine I recieved was spotless, but I def. did have to replace the valve cover gasket and dist. ring gasket, it was leaking a shit load of oil.

Then I got my conversion harness to obd-1 from a guy off of HMT, beautiful work, and my chipped ecu came from another guy off of HMT, another great guy to deal with.

very very nice!!!

Only one thing, I would not put the coil that far away. You will lose curent, the shorter the better.
But I love the swap. It looks factory.

Yeah I know, but it puts out way more spark than it needs so it does aight. I just kinda like it over there b/c its out of the way and looks decent.

Was it a SI or HF originally? Looks good man, i just did pretty much the same swap in my HF and i love that motor. I am curious though, For people that have driven a CRX w/ a b16 and a SOHC Vtec CRX, How big of a difference is it as far as 0-60 and a 1/4 mile, just guess-ta-mating. Cause the SOHC vtec gets the crx movin pretty good so i was just curious as to how big a difference it is.

the msd setup has been on 3 cars over the past 5 years so exact price I don't remeber, But I think it was about 200, and its an Si with 67,000 miles, but its still like 15 years old so it needs work.

And yeah this engine def. does scoot, can't wait to run it at the track for sure!

it deffinatly suprised me, and i am running a HF tranny, but it's cool cause i can go up to 95mph in second and it actually doesn't take to long to wind it out. I need to get a passanger w/ a stopwatch and see how long it take for 0-60 but it wouldn't suprise me to be under 6 or 7 sec., but i need to time it to be sure cause what i think the time might be don't mean shit untill i can get it on a stop watch.

Is this your first swap?

The reason I ask is because most of the time if it's your first time you take your time an try to do everything right. And that looks soo nice.

Nice job jeef, good to see you finally got it running again after that horrible incident. Very clean swap! Gotta let us know what she runs.

I haven't posted on the board for a while, I haven't been working on my cars that much. Just paying off bills instead of creating them.

The crx now has a custom exhaust with a new magnaflow euro-style muffler, all my tierod ends replaced, camber kit installed, alligned, and my nitrous lines have finally been ordered. I will have pics up soon. Then she's going to the paint/body shop. Then I'm going to do everything in my power to get a/c hooked up in her so I will be more comfortable drivin' down here in this hell hole.

So anyway  to everybody again!

jeef

haha, I Hear ya about the trying to pay bills off, but mang its so hard to not spend money on the car. So what color is your car going to go to??

And AC in Fla, who needs that?

there was a crx with a d16z6 at the track one night down here. Completely gutted with a dx tranny and was completely stock besides the motor and it was running a 10 flat in the 1/8th. I think he got a 9.9 too.

i dont get why people hate soo much on the sohc motor's. the shop i work at all they do is hate on them and think the b16a is the best motor ever made. i can't wait tell i get my motor dyno and runing prefect im going to blow them away. your d16a looks great.. dose any one know and jdm parts site's for jdm d15b or d16a? i have been looking for like 2 months and need parts becuase i want to build the hole thing soon.
