day light allways stay on

I need to find out wy my light stay allways on i turn the van off and and swich and the the lights are allways on
help

I am experiencing the exact same thing with my 98 Windstar. I have looked all over and finally brought it to a mechanic today. I have some information that it is the DRL Module that is faulty, but have not been able to locate the module to by-pass it. :banghead: The mechanic is stumped also.
I guess my next move is to bring it to a dealer as much as I don't want to.

In the meantime, I have taught my wife which fuse to pull when she turns off the van. The only fuse that will do it is under the hood with the main (60 amp) fuses.

If anyone knows where to find the DRL Module for this modle car, please let me know.

that module is located in the left front corner of the van.It is bolted to the bumper under the left headlamp. It is a black box, about 2 1/2 X 2 1/2. If the van is on a hoist, just remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the left splash shield, looking up to the bumper you will see 2 small bolts on the bottom of the bumper, remove those and reach above to remove the box.
